The cross-sectional area and weight of 1 m of the I-beam are cleaned according to the nominal dimensions; The steel density is taken to be 7.85 g/cm3. 2. The values of the radii of curvature, the slope of the internal edges of the shelves, the thickness of the shelves, indicated in the drawing. 1 and in table. 1, are given for the construction of calibers and are not controlled on finished products. 3. The tables use the following designations: I – moment of inertia; W is the moment of resistance; S—static half-section moment; i—radius of gyration. 4. I-beams from No. 24 to No. 60 are not recommended for use in new developments. 2.
The nominal dimensions of I-beams, cross-sectional area, weight and reference values for the axles must correspond to those given in table. 1. 3. According to rolling accuracy, I-beams are manufactured: increased accuracy – B, normal accuracy – B. 4. Maximum deviations in the size and cross-sectional shape of I-beams (Fig. 1-2) must correspond to those given in Table. 2. b1—width of the shortened flange; b2 is the width of the extended flange; D – shelf skew; f— wall deflection. 2 Table 2 mm I-beam parameter, quality indicator Size Limit deviations for increased normal rolling accuracy Height h Up to 140 incl. ±2.0 St. 140 » 180 » ±2.0 ±2.5 » 180 » 300 » ±3.0 » 300 » 360 » ±3.0 ±3.5 » 360 » 600 » ±4.0 ±4.0 Shelf width b Up to 73 incl. ±2.0 St. 73 » 90 » ±2.0 ±2.5 » 90 » 135 » ±3.0 » 135 » 155 » ±3.5 » 155 ±3.0 ±4.0 Shelf thickness t* Up to 7.5 incl. –0.4 –0.7 St. 7.5 » 8.9 » –0.5 –0.7 » 8.9 » 10.7 » –0.6 –0.8 » 10.7 » 12.3 » –0.7 » 12.3 » 14.2 » –0.8 –1.0 » 14.2 » 15.2 » –0.9 » 15.2 –1.0 –1.2 Warp of shelf D at width b From 55 to 190 inclusive. The deflection of the wall (f) should not exceed 0.15 S. 6. The curvature of the I-beam should not exceed 0.2% of the length. 7. The blunting of the outer edges of the flanges of high-precision I-beams should not exceed 2.2 mm; for normal-precision I-beams it is not controlled. 8. Profiles are made in lengths from 4 to 12 m: measured length; multiple measured length; of unmeasured length. By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture I-beams longer than 12 m. 9. Deviations in the weight of 1 m of I-beam should not exceed plus 3, minus 5%. By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, the deviation in weight without control of the thickness of the flanges and walls of the I-beam should not exceed plus 3, minus 3% for I-beams up to No. 16 and plus 2.5, minus 2.5% for I-beams over 16. 10. The dimensions and geometric shape are controlled at a distance of at least 500 mm from the end of the I-beam. The height of the I-beam is controlled in the Y – Y plane. INFORMATION DATA 1.
