Fire-retardant paints are thin-film intumescent coatings that swell when heated to form a heat-insulating layer and raise the fire-resistance limit of structures and cables. STABITERM is a manufacturer of fire-retardant paints on water and organic bases for indoor and outdoor conditions, with supply across Tashkent and all of Uzbekistan.
Types of fire-retardant paints
- Water-based — low odour, convenient for interior work; weather-resistant versions are available for outdoors.
- Organic-based — resistant to moisture and temperature swings, suitable for outdoor and demanding conditions.
- For steel structures and for cables — separate formulations for different tasks.

How to choose a paint
The coating is chosen by the type of structure being protected and its service conditions — indoors or outdoors, in a moist or aggressive environment, under UV. We calculate the required film thickness for the needed fire-resistance limit and the section factor of the steel, and provide technical information for the material.
Why STABITERM
- Own range of fire-retardant paints for different substrates and conditions.
- Materials in stock in Tashkent, next-day delivery to cities across the republic.
- Many years of use on industrial and civil facilities in Uzbekistan.
- Coating selection, consumption calculation and a technical information package for your facility.
Frequently asked questions
How does a water-based paint differ from an organic one?
Water-based formulations are more convenient for interior work and almost odourless; organic ones tolerate moisture and temperature swings better. For outdoors, weather-resistant versions of both types are used — selected for the site conditions.
Can fire-retardant paint be used outdoors?
Yes, weather-resistant STABITERM 219 and 209 paints are used for outdoor structures, resistant to moisture, temperature swings and UV. A protective-decorative enamel is usually applied on top.
Do you calculate paint consumption?
Yes. We calculate consumption and film thickness for the required fire-resistance limit and the specific structure, and provide technical information.
