Stabiterm

Fire-resistant sealant in Tashkent and Uzbekistan

A fire-resistant sealant is used to seal joints, seams and points where utilities pass through fire barriers. In a fire, the sealant holds back flame, smoke and gas, restoring the fire-resistance limit of a wall or floor where a solid fill cannot be made. STABITERM is a manufacturer of fire-resistant sealant, with supply across Tashkent and all of Uzbekistan.

Where it is used

  • Cable and utility penetrations — sealing the gaps around cables and pipes.
  • Joints and seams in walls and floors, structural abutments.
  • Expansion joints — where elasticity is needed as the structure moves.

STABITERM 010 fire-resistant sealant

  • STABITERM 010 — fire-resistant sealant: elastic, applied with a caulking gun, impermeable to smoke and gas, lasts for decades.

For volumetric filling of large openings and grouped penetrations, the STABITERM 008 sealing compound and the STABITERM 021 fire barrier block are also used. The full catalogue is in the Products section.

How we work

We select a solution for each specific junction: the opening is filled with a compound or block, and the joints and abutments are sealed with the sealant. We calculate consumption and the required fire-resistance limit and provide technical information for the material.

Why STABITERM

  • Complete range of materials for sealing and fire protection of penetrations in one place.
  • Materials in stock in Tashkent, next-day delivery to cities across the republic.
  • Valid certificates and test reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • Many years of use on facilities in Uzbekistan.
  • Solution selection per junction, consumption calculation and a technical information package.

Frequently asked questions

How does a fire-resistant sealant differ from an ordinary one?

When heated, a fire-resistant sealant keeps the joint intact and holds back flame, smoke and gas for the rated time, restoring the fire-resistance limit of the barrier. An ordinary sealant does not do this.

Where do I use sealant versus a sealing compound?

Sealant closes joints, seams and small gaps. Large openings and grouped penetrations are closed with a volumetric fill — STABITERM 008 compound or a STABITERM 021 block — and the joints are then sealed over.

Do you deliver to other cities in Uzbekistan?

Yes. Materials are in stock in Tashkent, with next-day delivery to cities across the republic.
