Characteristics
- Used for fire protection of cables with an outer sheath made of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and rubber.
- Principle of operation: based on swelling of the applied coating under the influence of high temperatures and the formation of a porous heat-insulating layer
- Color – gray
- Available as ready-to-use paint
- Minimum application temperature: 5°C
- Guaranteed shelf life in unopened original packaging: 12 months
- Packaging: 20 kg
- Certification: Fire retardant effectiveness confirmed:
Certificate of conformity
C-RU.PB34.V.01842 dated 12/22/2015
Advantages
- Operation of ready-made fireproof surfaces in an open atmosphere – ambient temperature from -60°C to 60°C, as well as indoors (heated, unheated).
- The paint is compatible with the most common types of insulation – polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and rubber.
- Dry residue – 67 2%
- The thickness of the dry layer is at least 0.8 mm. at a flow rate of 1.36 kg/m2
- Fire retardant efficiency and reduction factor for permissible long-term load current is not less than 0.98 in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 53311-2009 “Fire-retardant cable coatings. Methods for determining fire retardant effectiveness.”
- Possibility of applying paint using any convenient method – airless spraying, hand tools (brushes, rollers)
- Suspension-based paint provides savings on consumables for an airless application apparatus, since frequent replacement of nozzles is not required.
- Guaranteed service life of the coating, subject to application and operating conditions: at least 20 years
