Why it matters for warehouses
Modern warehouses and logistics complexes are built on large-span steel frames — unprotected steel loses its load-bearing capacity within just 10–15 minutes of a fire. At the same time a warehouse carries a high fire load: racking, packaging, goods. Fire protection of the frame buys time for evacuation and for the fire brigade, and is required under the project documentation at commissioning.
